Run a giveaway

Open timed entry while the channel is live, choose eligibility and winner count, then award random point prizes.

Giveaway rules live on the Points settings page alongside the channel's points configuration.

Set the rules

  1. Open Points Settings and expand Giveaways.
  2. Set entry time, prize range, winner count, eligibility and the wait between giveaways.
  3. Save the settings before going live.

Start and finish

If Start is unavailable, check stream status, an existing giveaway and the cooldown shown by the dashboard.

  1. While the Twitch channel is live, open the Points Dashboard and select Start in Giveaway.
  2. Tell viewers to use the configured join command; each eligible viewer can enter once.
  3. Select End to draw winners and award prizes, or Cancel to stop without winners.
