Ask viewers a question

Save reusable poll questions, start one when you need it and watch the live vote totals.

Save a poll question

  1. Open New poll template and enter the question and choices.
  2. Set how long voting should stay open and whether viewers may spend Channel Points on extra votes.
  3. Select Save template. The saved question appears in Run a poll.

Run the poll

Twitch allows one active poll. A poll started elsewhere appears here after reload, so check its question before ending it.

  1. Select Start poll beside the saved question you want to use.
  2. Watch the choices and vote totals in the active poll.
  3. Let Twitch finish it at the end of the duration, or select End poll to finish early.

If the poll is unavailable

  • Use Reconnect to Twitch on this page and complete Twitch as the selected channel owner.
  • Finish the active poll before starting another.
  • Reload before repeating an action when the displayed totals or result may be stale.
